Chocolade Ambassade is located in a historic townhouse in the heart of Ghent, just around the corner from the Castle of the Counts. The 16th-century “Huis de Lelye” is steeped in history and offers the perfect setting to experience chocolate in an authentic environment.

An experience in itself

Two chocolate enthusiasts and a lovely shop. They have single-origin bars, selected pralines by Belgian chocolatiers, And most importantly, kindness, dedication, and patience. I bought a few boxes of chocolate. As a goodbye, I got a praline filled with cardamom-blackcurrant ganache and I still regret weeks later that I didn’t go back to buy a box full of those. Yummy!

We learned so much about chocolate and the process of making it. It was informative, interesting and fun as well as delicious. This was amazing and well worth the money. Very educational yet fun, didn’t expect to try as many drinks and chocolates as we did but there were loads!! Making your own chocolate bar, own hot chocolate, then trying another 4 or so drinks on top of that, while also having lots of chocolate drops and bon bons, Would definitely recommend.
