Experience centuries of Belgian craftsmanship with this small-group tasting that combines two iconic Belgian products: chocolate & genever. Indulge in five delicious pairings while gaining insights into these craft products and the artisans behind them.
Belgium is renowned for its craft foods and drinks, but have you tried genever? Less known than Belgian beer, genever remains a hidden gem. Though it’s the Belgian ancestor of gin, this unique drink can even resemble whiskey when aged. This tasting introduces you to five local genevers, including a 10-year-aged genever. We’ve paired them with chocolates from different chocolatiers across Belgium: a great opportunity to explore various styles of Belgian chocolate in a short time span.
What's included?
- 4 local genevers ( including a 10-year aged jenever)
- 1 genever-based liqueur
- 6 artisanal chocolates from different exclusive chocolate makers
- Water

Cheers to Belgian craftsmanship!
“Booked this tasting because we tried genever before in Amsterdam and thought it was a curious drink. We expected to just try some genevers and eat some chocolates but this tasting was way more than that. The pairings were all delicious and we had fun trying to guess the aroma’s. Super friendly people also.”
